I think i got me a great deal.

We have a New pawn shop just opened a couple of weeks ago so I took a peak see what they have and found Nikon D7100 in Pristine condition $285.00 with 18-55VR lens and low shutter count and easily a condition 10. Did not care about the lens but since it came with it, sweetens the deal.

You sure did get a great deal! Pawn shops are often overlooked when it comes to photography equipment. I've done quite well shopping at them.

Looks like the lens is selling on Ebay for about 50.00. That would sweeten the deal even more. Or, see what your regular camera store will give you for it. Use it like a coupon towards something you really want. Lol.

so far i have reset the settings then went in changed everything to my liking took a few meaningless test shots not the cat and seems to be focusing good then charged the battery did the latest firmware. now for some better weather i can test it more thorough hopefully nothing ugly shows up.It had some piece of garbage rocketfish uv filter tossed it.
