Just wanted to share a couple of pics from my trip into the middle of no where Alberta Canada. I was on my way back to Calgary on Highway 9 and since everything east of Calgary is flat, you can for miles, I mean kilometers
About ten minutes later, I drove through that downpour.
These shots reminded me of our trip going to Dayton (Ohio) last June 3rd. We were driving with our rottenweiler while sonny boy was about to embarked flying one of my husband's airplane to site. It was a 6-hour drive (no rest stop) from our place but halve that to a taildragger which is 3 hours so we left earlier at 7am compared to sonny boy's 9am start from Creve Coeur Airport. We encounter these same scenario when we reached Cincinnati and kept updating him on whether it is safe to fly, how high the clouds were, where it is a clearer area to navigate instead....Glad you got this ones. It would have been nice to get these kinds of shots but my camera bag was at the back of our SUV...
