I want to spend ~2200$ on camera and lenses. Looking for best set suggestion.

I want 18-300 to be covered (little gaps allowed).
Right now i have pentax k-x with kit, but i'm thinking about switching to nikon - because of 18-105 lens (because it's quite cheap and comfortable to have such big range in single lens).
