I'm making do with my 55-200 lens...It's all I have besides the 18-55 and with the latter you have to be right on top of the subject. With all the bees and spiders I shoot....I'll use a 55-200 thank you very much! LOL

Well, I do like this close-up!
But with regards to wanting to smell these flowers ... I am not sure buttercups have much of a smell of their own, at least no one we could perceive with our human noses.

Actually they are tiny flowers, so this little spider must have been of the even tinier variety. Quite on the "cute"-side therefore, isn't it?
