This is really beautiful!
I would like to see the entire icicle however, rather than just the cropped portion of it.

straighten your horizon.. maybe only my eyes. I need a ruler on the screen LOL

Well, this picture isn't cropped. The icicle (ahh, so that's what it's called in English) was hanging in a fence, attached to the fence both up and down, I mean. I could post a picture of the fence with the icicles, though I assume you wanted to see it in front of the sunset :)

And thank you!

In my defence, the fjord is going inwards. By that I mean that the black things on the right is a bit farther (or is it further?) away than the black things on the left. It seems crooked, but actually it is not. Muhahaha!

edit: whilst on the subject, how do I straighten horizons? I have a few other shots from this little walk where the horizons are close to vertical. Well, not that bad, but surprisingly bad!

Awesome pic! The horizon is a little crooked though.

Very nice photo. The background looks a bit devilish. A cold day in hell.

This is Pure Abstraction!!! I just love it;
@ horizon: it appears the left side horizon and right side horizon separately appears nearly horozontal; but as mentioned they don't fall in line

Regards :D

I see a one eyed face in icicle(?), adding to the quality of abstraction

Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it! It tells me that I can take good photographs:)
If only I didn't post it here, I could enter the "open" TPF competition :)

edit: how's this for horizon evening?
