Before winter gets too far away (looking like a very early spring, here) I thought I'd post these, taken a couple weeks ago.
Snow had gathered on this pine tree, then freezing rain glazed atop that. A warm-ish, sunny day came along, and, by late afternoon this kind of thing resulted (with credit to @Medusa for noticing):
Which I thought might provide for some pretty interesting ice macros.
This one almost looks like a splash frozen by the shutter, rather than nature
And there were some icicles:
