Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hey Guys! Here are two more from yesterday. I feel like I'm improving in both my picture taking and the post editing. C&C please! :)

1. ISO 100, 18 mm, f9, 1/320 second. Not too much editing here, mostly saturation and vibrancy.

2. ISO 100, 30 mm, f5.6, 1/800 second. Here I just cropped and added some saturation. How is the focus?

Thanks for the feedback!

the second one is purple. Alot of purple there. Try and mess around with the hue and saturation

i personally find the first shot to have potential, but it needs work. The ground seems to have a blueish cast, and its too dark for my taste. This is a case where HDR would be a GREAT idea, because the value range is too great for one single exposure.

Thanks man. I've never done HDR before, but I definitely have been wanting too. I'll try to figure it out.

I like the purple (and warmth) in the 2nd one.. just not on the snow. I like the photo though, it's nice. Some selective desaturation is in order.

I'm in an editing mood:

Awesome reznap! Thank you! I always love your edits, so much better than my own! Can I just send you all of my unedited RAWs and you can go to work? ;)

^ Thanks :)

If you have a portrait or something you'd like some work done to (retouching, etc) I'd be happy to. I've been trying to get better at it, using frequency separation techniques and stuff. Still very new to the 'art' but it's amazing what you can adjust without destroying the image, even in jpeg form.

Here's one I did earlier today grabbed from a reddit post:

That retouch is really well done. It looks very natural!

Thats amazing reznap what a difference, i wish i had your PS knowledge.

Hey, thanks a ton. I've just been practicing for a while but it's nothing you can't learn to do for free. I actually followed a video tutorial a while back on retouching, made from a guy who posts on the imageboards in /p/ - let me find the link...

part2:

Anyway.. sorry to hijack your thread with retouching crap, OP.

Cool thanks for the links!
Haha you didnt hijack it :)

quick 2 minute lightroom edit of #1. If you want me to take it down I will. It is on my flickr with a description saying that I did not take this photo, I only edited it.
