He thought he saw a deer and fired his pistol. Now, his neighbor is dead.

It was a rifle, not a pistol.
Deer are hunted with bow and arrows, or rifles, not pistols.

New York law prohibits hunting after sunset.
The hunter, Thomas B. Jadlowski, fires 40 minutes after sunset.
I saw in another article about the shooting:
The hunter was on private property that wasn't his property.
The hunter didn't have permission to hunt on that private property.

Sheriff Joe Gerace told the Buffalo News that Jadlowski used a single-shot handgun permissible for deer hunting.

Still. I hope he's charged to the max. What a fool, now a woman is dead.

He's toast. Or at least should be!
I have nothing against hunting or firearms. But I do with idiotic people.
