Lao Mei Coast is on the most northern tip of Taiwan famous for its rocky feature on a sandy beach. The rocks are probably volcanic rocks eroded to form rounded shapes with canyon-like cuts perpendicular to the shoreline. The rocks are most visible during low tide but the best photo opportunities are when the tide is half to high when the waves will move in to collide with the rocks. However the most famous part of this place that attracts tourists and photographers is the annual/seasonal (April-May) appearance of the seaweed that gives a lush green and unique texture.
It was a cloudy day and the coast was filled with tourists, so lighting wasn't the test and I had to take close up shots for the most part to avoid having selfi-taking folks. Also the green looks radio-active... I only bumped the vibrance a bit. It was that saturated.
