I acutally watched that the other day. Very neat documentary. It would be SO cool to chase the president around all day taking pictures. How fun that must be!

That's what I was thinking the whole time. He takes 20k-50k pictures a month. By law, all the pictures become part of the historical archive. At one point, his memory card filled up during a "greet" shot and had to switch lens. Awkward moment. You would think he would have those new 128GB XCHD cards. I wonder how many times he gets a new body. Imagine having the ability to buy any gear he wants.

I've seen that one also. The first thing I did when I got Netflix was do a search on "photography".

My favorite thing I've watched about photography was a BBC documentary called "The Genius of Photography"

Not sure where you can buy it or rent it but I watched the whole thing on youtube..

I can't think of a better job than to be a candid photographer. The history of Presidential Photos and memorable shots is beyond words. I loved taking candid shots of the HS soccer team, the kids loved seeing them. Of all the photos I have ever taken, I like the results of the candids the best.

Certainly not a bad documentary, but it's a little dated..
