I acutally watched that the other day. Very neat documentary. It would be SO cool to chase the president around all day taking pictures. How fun that must be!

That's what I was thinking the whole time. He takes 20k-50k pictures a month. By law, all the pictures become part of the historical archive. At one point, his memory card filled up during a "greet" shot and had to switch lens. Awkward moment. You would think he would have those new 128GB XCHD cards. I wonder how many times he gets a new body. Imagine having the ability to buy any gear he wants.

Any time they want to use some more of your taxes to pay for the new body.

Divided by the US Tax paying Population a few thoudand dollar camera set up divided by the tx paying population is not a material burden to a tax payer and I'll leave it at that.
