If you have a young girl in the house you'd know this was a quote from Red in the 2024 American musical teen fantasy/comedy "Descendants: The Rise of Red", which also happens to be Lil'Bit's current fascination. She knows every song, every line, every dance move. A little fun with Lil'bit doing what she does best this afternoon, in her costume for Halloween

Sympathetic. Got roped into endless sessions with friends' pint-size Sailor Moons.

Looks like allice in wonderland to me.

Your closer than you think, the film includes a lot of characters from previous Disney films. Red is the daughter of the Queen Of Hearts, from "Alice in Wonderland". King Charming and Cinderella from the previous film and the list goes on. It's a high energy film, lots of music, singing, dancing aimed squarely at the "tween" market.

Great job on the posing and makeup. I'll have to ask my grands about Red. The costume looks reflective. Did you have to under expose?

This was one of those last minute - "oh can you take pictures today" moments, so no idea what the costume looked like nor how reflective it was. No prep, no planning, always a good time. She did her own makeup (she messed up a few places), but that's how they learn. The poses as always was all her, I just hold the camera and go with it. LOL

Shot outside with off camera speed light camera Left/high set to P-TTL, with a Gary Fong Lightspehere, for fill. It acts much like a slightly directional globe, and when you put it in the same path as natural sunlight there's little conflict with temperature. I used a 1/4 Black Pro Mist Filter on the 70-200 @ f/2.8. No under exposure, it was ETTR. In retrospect I should have followed my own advice on aperture, and not shot wide open, could have gone to f/5.6 would have given me a darker background and more DOF on the face. The Pro Mist filter, did provide some control on the highlights, however it comes at the expense of harsher skin tones, which is why I don't use it that often. The full set is on FB.

Wonderfully done!

I've never heard of it, but no young girls around to enlighten me! She looks great - what a fun costume, complete with the watch as a prop. Nice work with the lighting here. That dappled sunlight could have played havoc.

Brace yourself for her Goth phase.

She’s the best model. Always a strong vibe.

@jeffashman thank you

@terri Thank you. The clock is a time travel device after listening to ALL the songs and watching ALL the dance moves I probably know more than I want to. lol

@SquarePeg Thank you. By vibe did you mean attitude, because she has a little to much of it sometimes.
