I'm finding photography purposeless.

It's only meaningless(pointless?)when extreme cold does the Dracula thing to my batteries and the fingers numb too fast glove-less to work the buttons and dials. But still, well-spaced coffee joints warm everything up. OK, it's kind of a zombie thread but most of us get jumped by this dark force. Shake it off. Cameras like being shot. You likely won't get any worse at it, either.

Being bored with a hobby does not make it useless, it is mature way of telling you need a break and switch to something else for a while.
