I'm looking to buy A new dslr. What are your thoughts? Nikkon, Canon. I'm thinking maybe...

Canon rebal xt, 10d or 20d

the 1d line is out of my price range at the moment.

I also thought of going med or large format ( are there labs that can transfer it to disc/digital )

as far as DSLR's go, use the search function on the forum. This has been a very common topic on here. I myself am a canon guy since I had canon stuff in the past. If you have nikon lenses, why not buy a nikon body so you can use them instead of replacing them. However, if your starting fresh, go hold them and see what you feel the most comfortable with.

People never consider Olympus - and for my money they are the equal of Nikon - and better than Canon. Both film and DSLR.
And Olympus have just dropped the price of the Evolt (E300) so you'll get a better camera for less money

I like the canons a well. I should be getting my AE1 back soon from the shop
