Image upload

I have a 40D and use bridge to upload pictures off my camera. The problem is that when it downloads the pictures, they're still on my camera. Is there a way to delete them through Bridge or something else so i don't have to do it manually on the camera?

I usually just select the files in Bridge or from Explorer and delete them. But deleting them on camera is a breezy flash.

Press Menu> Use the 4way rocker to select the Playback menu then press OK> Select All> Press OK..

I have the 20D and I always delete the files off the card via the format card option on the camera menu. My photography teachers always said this is best for the card and makes it less likely to become corrupt down the line.
