Nice. Very nice. My only two comments are it feels a little tight on top, and I can't say exactly why but it feels slightly tilted. That's weird, right?

I agree. Wish I had a little more room on the top of the frame! On second inspection, I can see what you're seeing as far as it not being level. A few degrees rotation will clip the top of the wave unfortunately.

I think it has great appeal, with its power and movement. Beautiful capture.

My main nitpick is that it appears a mite flat...which I hesitate to say sometimes due to my crappy monitor. But could it use a bit of contrast (from those with better screens that mine)? With a bit of brightening overall to make sure you don't lose the rockface detail.

Great shot, only thing is that to me it seems like the shutter speed is at an inbetween level with the movement in the water. A bit longer and it would have smoothed them out, a bit shorter and it would have froze them in place. Particularly the water in the lower right hand side of the image. Regardless would still love to be able to say i took this.... great shot.

I agree. I looked at couple variations with more structure, contrast and definition. I liked them. I might work on it more.

Keen observation and I agree. Unfortunately at the time the shot was taken I was shooting with no filter and somewhere in the f18 -f22 range, which limited SS possibilities. On the imaging side of things, this created a nightmare because my sensor isn't entirely spot free at those extreme.

Since then I've invested in both a circular polarizer and a 3 stop filter to give me much more flexibility with shutter speed.
