Impact.....

Are they the "house brand" of B&H, or are they a brand unto themselves.?
I am not 100% certain, but i do not think i have seen Impact outside of B&H.
Are they a decent studio light.?

Impact, as far as I know, is an indie "value" brand, and is sold by more than only by B&H.

Surely Impact studio lights are made by an OEM manufacturer, and likely are "quite alright".

I have not Read/Watched a lot of reviews, but the few i have seem to agree with your summation.
They are a fairly decent product. No doubt some of the better known brands might be more durable, or offer more Features/Options.
But if you need some lights in your studio, these will do a reliable job.
