what would you recommend to improve my skills as a photographer or retoucher? :angel:

Those look good to me. I would ask specifically what you think an issue is in one or two of the photos and how you could improve them. With so many photos and not numbered, it may be hard for the experts to critique them. There may be several different issues that may not apply universally.

Well done for the most part!

However, a few of these seem soft on focus. I personally would like to see their face and eyes sharper. Also my internet has been worthless lately, so if I am wrong please say so.

Just looked at these quickly, and I'm far from a professional, but the lighting seems to be somewhat off on 5, 6, and 7. The faces are underexposed compared to the upper body? Maybe due to a vignette?

Sorry for my English, I'm from Russia

No, it's not a vignette, but similarly to this, I used a filter with a light and focus on model's face or important part of pics I think, I shoot on a canon 600d and kit lens 18-55, and I think he does not give sharp photos, beautiful bokeh, and so forth, look at the photos of many photographers who have cool equipment, they have the photos without processing super cool... And I'm trying to achieve the effect and try to come nearer to such pictures only with photoshop... Not very good , I'll be honest

When putting a dark outfit on a black background, a kicker or hairlight is a must. Unless you're photographing invisible ninjas.

It's a love story, I want to make it not traditional way

What do you think will help me buy better equipment? Or is it just that personal abilities and skills?Of course it is obvious that real bad photographer that doesn't help, but I hope it's not about me :allteeth:

In the photos mentioned, it looks like the light is falling just downward of where it should be, but that's just my opinion.

I have the same problem with my kit lenses.
