This tree is planted at the local Community College in memory of a long time employee from the past.

I like the angle, lighting, background, and the geometric and somewhat abstract aspect of the picture. Beautiful!!! Can you give us some details on how you shot it?

I'm glad you like it Rere.

I liked the angle of the light and wanted the trunk as a leading line so to get as low as possible I laid on my back with my head near the trunk, framed the image and tripped the shutter.

I used my daily carry rig: Nikon D60 w/grip, Nikkor 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6. I never leave home without it.
