Ah, the EM...marketed by Nikon as the "ladies' SLR". The Poor Dear could have a little camera for her bag whlle hubby manfully handled his F-series beast. Body design by Giugiaro, who also did the F3.

I have an EM; it was a gift my mother got for Christmas decades ago and never used. It's a little beauty, so simple and fun to shoot with. Throw some killer glass on it and it can produce world-class images.

Must be steadier than the prosumer F100, which is the F5 lite. I burned thru 3 copies of the F100, and they all eventually had an electronics failure and either deliver the 'Eee' message, or just brick. Maybe I should give the F5 a go.

Just curious did ya ever get an F5?
