In search of P&S

I am considering a new P&S and would like your suggestions for the following :

1. Min 7,1 Mp
2. Min 4x optical zoom
3. Compact and light for everyday carrying
4. min 1,5 fps
5. In the range of 250-270$

(Prefered sony, nikon or canon).

I'd also look at the Panasonic Lumix series, I had used one for a year before I got a dslr and loved it. They are same quality as the one you mentioned and come at good prices.
