If I would have had my tripod with me, it would have been significantly easier; I made two exposures of the same shot; one with trees in focus, one with windows in focus and then in PS, I made the windows exposure 1/2 sharp doing a series of blend layers where I took out some sharpness in the windows with channel luminosity masks. Then, I brought one midtone layer into NIK Silver Efex Pro with a Smooth High Structure Smooth with a mid-value selenium toner. One last blend using a high contrast blue filter on the trees and voila, an image I saw when I made the initial exposures came to light.
