"Incense" 7/15/06

I am really just testing new waters so to speak. Seeing what vast dimensions I can wander too with my camera. Trying to make a nothing into a something. No real significance. Nothing to photograph so I tried something boring. None of these were editted in any way once taken except to remove saturation from the black and white ones. I was going for the antique rusting look with the high ISO setting to create film grain. What a downside to digital photography, it didn't really turn out that well.

numbers 1 and 3 dont really do anything for me. number 1 is hard to see the smoke because of the lighting, and number 3 ruins the only reason I cant look away from number 2... the embers.

seeing as taht I am not any good at photography someone else will have to help you make them right, but if you could make the smoke more apparent in number 1, it would be awesome
