industry standards

Hi,


I know all the details about how to set your prices and everything, but nonetheless I am wondering what are the industry standards (I live in New York if that matters) for pricing a product photography shoot? It should be something like 10 products, 2 or 3 shots per product. Assuming travel was not an issue. I'd like to know cause I don't want to end up asking way too much than the average, or way too little (after I covered my costs and everything of course).

There are just too many variables that need to be considered. Look into getting Foto Quote. If this is a one off assignment, something you only do once in a great while and you don't want to invest in the software, you can have a pricing consultant give you a quote for a small fee.
