Spiders.
That, and the fact that it is something I can do anywhere, any time, and for free after a hardware investment. When I'm done, I can share the product with anyone, anywhere in the developed world at the press of a button. It can be as involved or uninvolved as I want it to, and I can learn something about every time I pick up the camera.
Also, it has changed how I look at ordinary every-day things that I never would have previously noticed.
Fairly empowering if you ask me.
I find the whole practice of photography fascinating. All aspects of it. I want to learn as much as I can in hopes of someday having someone look at my images and say "wow". Until then, I'm having a blast going through the motions.
