The wife and I decided to visit the Muskoka Wildlife Centre ... which was a place that Bynx showed images from in a long ago post.
We frequent Algonquin Park, and passed by many times ... but never stopped ... so we drove up last weekend to take a look.

This is one image ... through the fencing ... did not get into the enclosures.
Comment if you wish.

For those Sony users that may want to know ...

Shot with an old Minolta Maxxum 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 APO (not the D) version.

Nice capture :) was it a cool place? I've been wanting to go since he posted the big cat shots from there also!

The animals are interesting, as most come with some sort of story on why they are there.
They are used to humans so they act very tame (some of them were "pets" or hand raised). There are not that many animals at the facility.

The fencing prevents any good photography of them ... though they do offer special photo sessions within the enclosures (which I believe Bynx did)
