On a recent dive in lake Ontario I encountered a blood shot eyes bass in the shallow. I usually give a try at every fish even the most common I encounter! It gets annoying for the other divers around sometime, especially on night dive, when my two external flash go every 15 sec!! :D

However, this little guys came out different than every other bass picture I took before! Without any kind of postprocessing of any sort I got the following cool looking metallic fish! I was quite happy by the results! What do you think? Excuse the particles in the water, lake Ontario is not quite the Caribbean sea

Its a rock bass. When I was a kid, I used to catch them all the time on lake erie. The thrive in well hidden rocky areas, all I would have to do is drop a worm on a hook down off the side of our dock and slowly walk back and forth holding the worm as close to the cribs as I could. Could easily catch 20 a day.
