asking for advice and then not have your post ever put up?

I registered for this site and then spent time because I really need advice on something and then waited saw I had to have moderator approval. I've waited several days and still my post is not up. What's the deal?

Not sure what "the deal" is, or was, but you just wasted an opportunity to ask your question on advice with a question about your irritating experience.. What advice do you need other than how to use every opportunity you have to get something done ? I'll try to help you.

...I wasn't aware that new members had to get moderation approval to post. Maybe the rules have changed or something?

Sometimes, early posts are tagged by the automatic spam filter...and thus get stuck awaiting a moderator to either approve the post or get rid of it and ban the spammer.

Most of the time, this doesn't happen, so your post much have triggered the spam filter.

Try again, maybe avoid links or web addresses.
