Upper left , there is a spot - What do you think? Does it look like a dirt on the sensor? Shot at f/5.6 , 18 mm lense.

Does it shows up in that spot using another lens? If so, probably on the sensor. Otherwise could maybe be something on the lens. In which case you could clean either one or have a shop clean it.

sensor.

a HUGE black dot on the lens wouldn't render a spot like that, or at all.

Problem is, and it is a real problem - this is not an interchangeable lense camera. There is no access to the sensor...

Clone it out and most likely it will not even be noticeable in most of your street shooting.Looks more like a lubricant or water stain then dust to me on the sensor.

Dustspot on the sensor - or could be lubricant or other tiny particle.

Most point and shoots are not fully sealed units, so even though its rare dust and other particles can still get inside over time. Sadly I don't think many have a "dust delete data" function; but check the manual to see if it does. If not its a case of using the spot heal tool to remove it (And in complex scenes it likely won't be visible).

It's a UFO clearly. But seriously either have it cleaned at your local dealer or you would have to photoshop out that tiny bit for every single photo you have.
