Is the weight ok?

I bought the Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L Lens. I also have the Canon Rebel Xti. I was curious if that weight combined would be too heavy for my head piece on my tripod. Its from manfrotto:

I cant say for sure but id say yes, the max on that head is 2.5 lbs and on bhphoto.com the info says the lens is 3 lbs.

thats 2.5 kg not lbs so 5.6 lbs. The lens is 3 lbs and the camera is 18 oz.

It may be enough, but with a $1300+ lens, I'd go with something more substantial. I have the 322RC2 head seen here.

It supports 11lbs and can be mounted in the same joystick position.
