Is there a product to attach to viewfinder ...

... so I can more clearly see the image before I take it, and perhaps larger than the viewfinder view. Although I do not wear glasses (only have a small prescription) I often find when using manual control for focus that I cannot clearly and definitely see what I am focussed on. (Especially with macro work).

I am sure there must be a product ... I am using a Canon 40d.

There is a diopter adjustment you can use, it helps correct eyesight issues. I use mine because I have an astigmatism in my left eye. It helps drastically.
 
I also have an astigmatism in my left eye .. which I think is why I have trouble deciding if something is in focus or not.
 
You could look at the canon angle finder. That gives you a 1.6* increase in the viewfinder image and can also give you a 2* incrase in the image (though this only displays the centre of the image for fine focusing - such as in macro work). Its also a good attachment for getting the camera down low when the undergrowth does not let you get your body and head down low with the camera.
