As for the rolling practice, that went well. Renewed my acquainance with some rock bass that live in Lake Champlain. No sign of "Champ" - he/she doesn't show up when there are boats around, and there were at least a hundred between the Rouses point bridge (USA)and the Lacolle/Noyan bridge (Canada). Fortunately most were just floating around, letting the sun shine onto where it usually doesn't.
