Is this shadow as annoying as I think it is?

Went downtown to the bay front and shot some pictures with my son, and I liked this one, but didn't notice when I was shooting that my shoulder was casting a shadow on his leg. Is it as distracting as I think it is(which is very)

It is noticeable.. so clone it out!

I tried the spot healing tool but it kept "smearing" it. Tried selecting around it and using layer mask but could get the color right . Not a PS wizard yet.

Thanks Traveler. Did you use the cloning tool? I like the crop too, got rid of the empty on the side. I'll try my hand on the full size and see if I can get it.

Here you are! Also lightened it up a touch, it appeared a bit dark on my calibrated monitor.

I made the selection on a blank layer then used the clone too, lower hardness near the joins.

Good job cgipsom1, it's hard for me to really tell what color anything is, or how dark a picture is, my monitors are way out of whack ...
