Well I got my adapter & now have mounted the little Industar 50/3.5 on my camera. I took a few quick trial shots with her this morning. The first four are wide open @ f3.5 & the last stopped down to f5.6. 1. f3.5 2. f3.5 3. f3.5 4. f3.5 5. f5.6 She is nowhere as sharp as my Helios 58/2.
Yeah but that lens cost like 20 bucks. It's amazing how much money all lens manufacturers are funneling into their pockets while old lens that don't cost anything have very very similar quality.
Ya, like the Nikkor 500 f/5.6s on ebay for like $5k. I'd give up metering for a 500 priced less than $1k, for sure.
