Yesterday turned into a macro kinda day. Here are the best shots.
C&C always welcome and appreciated :)
Thanks for taking a look.

Pieris Butterfly. White balance was tricky on this one but I think I'm pretty close.

It is turning into a love/hate relationship with spiders. This is a jumping spider who was hanging out in the greenhouse. He gave me enough time to take 3 shots of him before he retreated to a crack and peeked out. Any movement made him duck down, he was as afraid of me as I was of him so I didn't bother him long.

Scilla Siberica
These were in the grass, they are teeny tiny but beautiful.

Butterfly rocks!

Jumper could use a crop!

Nice flowe shot!

Thanks Charlie! :)
The spider is already a pretty heavy crop so was worried about going too far, I'll tinker with it and see how much closer I can get.

Maybe her screen needs calibration ;) or she had a flashback of that blue butterfly that was EVERYWHERE a couple years back lol

I tried to get a closer crop on the spider, this is 700 on the long side, any closer and it really started to degrade. Mind you I like the colour better in this one so one for the good but back to the drawing board to get a crisp focus.

nice try.. but I agree! You need a macro lens! ;)

True Charlie, it is competing with a 400mm for the top of the wish list ;)
