Seriously it was. Yesterday while in the bathroom trying to concentrate on the business at hand there was a nagging, incessant buzzing from a fly in the window. After washing up I grabbed the camera and snapped on the nifty fifty with 52mm total of extension tubes. It was shot handheld and I used a led flashlight as a light source. TBH I don't know how this shoot would have worked with a tripod given the focus capabilities (or lack of) with the ex-tubes and the constant chasing of the fly.
Interesting thing to note about using the led flashlight. The pwm on it is slower than I thought as exposures at 1/125th and above would be all over the place depending on where in the pwm cycle it caught.
