I love slugs, and this one is beautiful. Nice exposure. Since the slug is presented in a nice vertical plane, you could have narrowed the DOF if you wanted. I think getting closer would have helped bring more of the animal into view. Here's a quick crop that illustrates what I might try; I tried to emphasize the sense of diagonal motion and complementary lines. The resolution suffers since the uploaded image is rather low-res, but you get the idea.

I love slugs

A few years ago, I did some exploring in the Olympic National Forest. You've got some BIG slugs up there. Unfortunately, camera malfunctioned, and I have one shot of a lake for the whole trip.

Going back one of these days.
