Lovely sharpness and exposure
I think you're tryiong to show too much by keeping in the both the balloon and the shoes.
My eyes go back and forth never settling - and the picture gets strung out skinnier than 2:3
I suggest letting the baby's face and the shoes be enough (and uprighting the image so the wall isn't tilted.)

Thank you. My assistants, (wife and daughter in law) weren't communicating and little girl was really cranky. The balloon should have never been in the shot, but it was so I was left with a problem. I tried cropping at the top of the head, but the tag hanging down on the balloon really bugged me, so I went high. Thought about trying to clone out the tag, but there's a lot to remove. May be easier to just do it over. There are a lot of competing angles on the deck. I lined up on the nearest baluster vertically. Need to look at this again.

Thanks JC, she has her PaPa and Mimi wrapped around her little finger already. I let her Mom and Dad deal with the bigger house and closets ;-)

There is so much that is natural and cute in this image, I wouldn't worry about the tag; it gives just a little bit of something extra to the image and shows that it was a bit spontaneous. Perfect things aren't perfect.
