Hi Folks, new member, just checking things out here to see how this works..
This shot taken near 12 noon, so sky not real co operative / and sun was just in a bad place for this/ polarizer didn't help much either.. but wasn't going to pass on this shot... so guess we will see what you think.. guess I better tell you this is Vermont, things a little slow around here, and that includes Spring!

Hmm, seems like in order to get this kind of lighting (almost directly into the light), which so wonderfully illuminates the new spring green, you have to give up on the sky. I tried the same (a little earlier here, since this is not Vermont ) with the same unpleasing result in the sky, if you want to look here - and you will see that my complaint ALSO is about the totally washed out sky.

But the greens are at their loveliest with this kind of light, aren't they?
And isn't it always such a soothing sight to see this kind of green after the white (here only grey-in-grey, for we had no real winter... :roll: ) of the winter months?
