G'day all

Took myself out into the back blocks yesterday and found these Jackarandas along a farmers fenceline.
As I understand it, Jackarandas are originally Brazilian trees, now world-wide as they are so colourful when in bloom

As always, feedback welcome

I really want to grow one, there just to big for the yard here. There's a dwarf variety at roughly 2.5h × 2.0-2.5w...

Beautiful color - How long do they stay in bloom?

Beautiful! I like the line of the trees beneath that rolling hilltop. Very nice.

G'day mate

Blooming varies a bit on the weather / heat / rain - but can be up to 6 weeks, and in mid to late Spring
The flower blooms are fragile, so any rain will break the petals making the ground all purple
