I've been taking a lot of photos lately, but haven't had the energy or inspiration to edit them for a while. I posted a few images of this fisherman a few weeks ago, but I left a lot of his images unedited until today and thought these were worth sharing.

I have some trouble getting the focus perfect when I use my 135mm. I got the wrong eye in focus on this shot, so the eye closest to the lens was thrown a little out of focus along with that side of the face. I'm thinking of using manual focus to see if I can do it more accurately; has anyone here had good experience using manual focus with a 135mm focal length or something similar?

I really like the 1 st ... the bright area in the second one distracts my eye, but I think with a little more pp it will shine as well

- I would take the redness off his skin, just a bit;
- a slightly camera move to the left so we can see what he is looking at;
- maybe some more light in the eyes
... and tell the dude to take of his shirt sometimes in the sun

I can't take my eyes of his shoulders because they're the brightest part of the photo

- love it. can't tell you exactly what I love about it but it just works for me.
- just tone down a bit that bright area left of his head

Thanks for the input guys; noted and much appreciated.
As far as his skin tone goes he's an Alaskan fisherman, so tanning in the sun is a very limited activity. I also find the tan-line to be sexy.
