Jay Bird

This Blue Jay is one of two that were working hard to get their nest built last Sunday. I watched them for about an hour and they never slowed down a bit; pick up something, fly to the nest, pick up something, fly to the nest. Wish I had that much energy

I wish I hadn't cut the tip of his tail off, but I did.

Beautiful bird! As you said, having a bit more tail would have been nice. Also, there appears to be some haloing around the bird.

Thanks. I didn't notice the halo at home but I can see some here at the office. I'll take a look at it when I get home.

I underexposed the bird a bit (stupid mistake) and lightened him up while leaving the background alone. I may have accidently gotten some background around the edges of the bird as well.
