Those are really nice! Love that flash of blue in the feathers.


Thanks Jeff. Yeah, the iridescent blue is quite striking. They can be quite noisy birds too but often shy. Being Corvids they carry a bit of intelligence too.

Wow, 2,3 and 4 are stunning! Superb detail and fantastc. I'd love to see a jay in the wild!


Thanks Pete, that's greatly appreciated.

I'm surprised you don't see them over your neck of the woods (pun intended;)). They are there or at least within range, tho as I alluded to, for a big bird they can me a bit hesitant.
