Thanks Jeff. Yeah, the iridescent blue is quite striking. They can be quite noisy birds too but often shy. Being Corvids they carry a bit of intelligence too.

I'm surprised you don't see them over your neck of the woods (pun intended). They are there or at least within range, tho as I alluded to, for a big bird they can me a bit hesitant.
