Well I went out to this beautiful place in Duluth MN called Enger Tower Park. Did a little photoshoot with a friend and her son who turned 1. Well there was also a wedding there! Well I couldn't help but gawk at the photographer! Lol!! Didn't bug him at all but just watched here and there on our journey thru the park. All I gotta say is omg!! The equipment that dude had made my t2i look like a $20 point and shoot. I couldn't help but joke with my friend about it!! Well he also was coincidentally leaving when I was leaving so I had to mention how jealous I was!!!! And I would love to learn more and apprentice! He said he'd give me a call!

He had it all!! I was like a kid in a candy store lol!!

Pro golfer Fuzzy Zoeller used a tagline when he was hawking Dunlop equipment for KMart- "You can buy the clubs, but the swing is mine!" The same thing goes for photographers. I've seen some insanely expensive gear take some really awful pictures, while I've seen some stupidly cheap point and shoot cameras take amazingly great pictures. The most important tool in taking the great picture is the person pressing the shutter. Your T2i will take phenomenal pictures as long as you're composing the shot right and know how to dial in your settings.

I have a setup that looks pretty expensive.

Many photographers present photographs that make mine look like they were taken with a $20 point and shoot.

A $10,000 setup does not a photographer make.

Whose signature here is something like "Buying a Nikon doesn't make you a photographer.... it makes you a Nikon owner."?

He could have all the gear but no idea

We were at an abandoned train station with a model, MUA, 2 photogs, 1 assistant, and 2 strobe lights, soft umbreallas, and 3 speed lights. Then we saw a wedding photog with just a speed light on her camera shooting into the harsh afternoon sun and didn't even use her flash or reflectors. I wanted to come over and ask her for tips on how to balance out the white wedding gown in the sun, the bright sun light, the grooms black tux, and the people's face with no flash. :(

Yea I have no clue how his work is but I know he had 3 cameras. A lot of lens some big big ones. 2 assistants. 2 strobe boxes. 2 umbrellas. 2 off camera flashes and a beautiful day too!

I wish I was a millionaire hahahaha!!

Tech!
