John Muir historical building

Went to a historical site where John Muir lived with his inlaws, in Martinez, California. This was his typewriter, located in the room where allegedly wrote eight books.

Gorgeous stairs and railings.

John Muir lived in this house along with his inlaws. He did not own this home.

I am assuming this is a fire fighting wagon, or perhaps a crop watering wagon.

Great shots. I don’t know much about John Muir except he was naturalist and a conservationist. We visited the Muir Woods National Monument when we were in San Francisco a few years back. Awe inspiring.
