Joining two pics | How to?

Hello,

I am an amateur photographer just trying to climb my ropes.

I was wondering if anyone can let me know how I can join two pics (Divided by a Divider) to create effect like this.

Photoshop or paint is easily able to do this. Find the width of both pictures. Create a new document and double the width or drag it out. Paste one picture. Move it to the left. Paste the 2nd picture and move it to the right. Wala!

Is it possible to create it with Lightroom? What is it called or Any tutorial would be awesome!
