Mind me asking how you processed this? It seems that the rocks have a very sharp contrast, but the sky is a solid midtone... did you process them separately?

Thank you- The light was exceptionally harsh and bright. I did bring out the dark by adjusting the shadow/highlights in cs2. But I didn't use any zone/tone type processing otherwise.
