....for some of those healing thoughts/light that you all emit so well ...... if you could direct it Queensland way for my dad :love:

My dad has been pretty sick for the most part of this year. He's been in and out of hospital and doesnt seem to be gettin anywhere healthwise , despite the 'pharmacy amount ' of medication he has to take each day.He has really high blood pressure ( on an average day , his blood pressure reads around 125 or so )
He's back in intensive care .....he was admitted yesterday , his blood pressure reading was at 150 ....which is dangerously high

. The docs are scratching their heads as to why this man is still around .....he's a stubborn one , my dad lol.
He's only 48 too .... if he thinks I'm lettin him saunter off into heaven-land already , he's got another think comin , the bugga ..... [/stubborn]

Edit : Just to make sense .... his blood pressure was 227 over 149 .....

Well, Lumi, you sure get my thoughts travelling round the world to you for your dad. Only 48? How young must you be? 48 is not the age for anyone to go off into heaven-land, tell him that! Say a lady in Germany, whose husband is of the same age, has said so - what would I do if my husband decided he would want to "leave"? His kids are only 15 and 11 now! (Mine, too, by the way -- happen to be the same).

No-no-no-no-no. 48 is not the right age!

Joke apart, Lumi, I will continue thinking of you and hoping for the best!

Hey Lumie - what hospital is he in mate? If it's in Brisbane I mite be able to pop up and say hello one nite after work (I'm always too drunk on the weekend - LMAO). I'm almost the same age (42) and guess what??? - high blood pressure too.

(maybe I could smuggle him up some smokes and rum - our heads could explode together then)

i know that he'd be your friend for life if ya smuggled him a few Woodstocks ! :lol:

I just spoke to him about half an hour ago.... your thoughts and light you all sent must've been strong coz he is a hella lot better... he's actually concious lol ! We spoke for a bit and then I let him go so he could sleep.
I feel relieved *sigh*....
He has a long way to go to get back to health but we're all gonna help him.

You've got our prayers for your dad.

I'm going to hit the big 50 in a couple of weeks so he's WAY to young to have these problems. Sure make our problems look smaller. I hope all will be well with him.

I'm glad mate. You're rite - Bundaberg is a bit far. But I drink Bundaberg rum (amongst others) so maybe that's what fixed him up.

*stares at rum and thinks kind thoughts towards Bundaberg.
