Just curious what you think C&C

I really wish avoided the fencing and houses but this was just playing around. I mainly do TV Prod and Journalism, but I am interested in photography and would like to improve, so please comment.

The vignetting really doesn't work in the second image. And you are right about the distracting background. Also, the centre composition in the bird shots aren't really working either.

Is that real shade or processing in the second?
