This is just for fun so I'm not sure how anyone will like these..

Personally, I don't that effect. IMO it detracts from the importance that flower holds HOWEVER the original is a very nice shot of some flowers! That one that you highlighted already stands out on its own, it's all in focus, you composed it pretty well, and the colors are vibrant and alive! Nice shot, you're getting better already!

Thank you, I wasn't sure how I felt about these pictures and then I was amused with the effects and started messing around with them and thought I would share.

Try going in tighter on one of the flowers, and try a little less DOF so you have A subject.
Skip the effect on #1, IMHO.

Thank you. And I just wanted everyone to know that I'm enjoying practicing on different shots. I know my shots my not be to everyone's liking and I know people are helping me out and I'm thankful of that. I'm just practicing to see where this gets me. :sillysmi:

And that's the best way to improve. Keep shootin' and postin'. Take in all comments and critique, weed out the nonsense and shoot some more. Never let the comments and critique get you down. Most are honest comments to help you improve.
